"I have been to trailer parks from Maine to Florida. What I liked about the Rio Grande Valley is the weather is actually nicer than Florida- less humid and more predictable. In Florida, it was often foggy in the morning, and rainy in the afternoons. In the Valley there are more clear, pleasant days and the nights are really beautiful. Florida has become overpriced and overcrowded.
There is less traffic on the roads and everything is well marked and easy to navigate. People are calmer. Employees in practically every establishment greet you with a hello and a smile. It is clean. Everything you need is here, and it is less of a hassle to get from point A to point B.
Oleander Acres is near the airport, but there is no air traffic noise. The park is clean and well kept. People are friendly without being nosy. Ed Welliver went out of his way to help me accomodate my parrots, which was much appreciated." -- Nicki from New Jersey.
